A close relative of mine pointed out this holiday season that it is impossible to buy gifts for me because I am so picky. She was right – I am very difficult to buy for. And while I admit to being a bit like Goldilocks when it comes to handbags and dating, I am not picky. I am particular. I strive to be surrounded by the things I love and would rather go without than settle for something that doesn’t fit the bill.
In my opinion, being particular is a positive way to express your individuality. When you carefully curate your assortment you always feel like you have something to wear because you love everything you own. Your wardrobe will accurately reflect your personal style and you will look like the best-particular-not-picky version of yourself. That’s pretty positive if you ask me.
