Pre-Spring Cleaning

I recently watched a documentary on ‘tiny homes’ that I found truly fascinating. Scaling down, living simply and freeing yourself of financial burden – what a concept!

While you won’t see me living in a structure with wheels any time soon, I am very interested in simplification. The idea of streamlining my life and eliminating clutter is incredibly inspiring. The idea of passing on what I don’t use or need, spending smartly and allowing myself to live more leisurely is even more so.

As such, I have come up with this initiative: I am only going to surround myself with people, places and things that I really need. A Spring cleaning of sorts. I am starting with my closet and my apartment. I might even eliminate so much white noise that I end up living in a tiny home. I think I could handle it…as long as it has decent closet space.
