Quest for the best – Tuxedo Slippers

My search for the perfect tuxedo slipper came to a head yesterday at the Steve Madden store in Union Square and I am so pleased with my purchase. My slipper specifications were lengthy – versatile, comfortable, neutral, glam, unique, under $150- and after two months of research I had resigned myself to the fact that I might need to make a compromise on one of the points. As luck would have it, I found a pair that checked off all of my boxes. They are taupe suede with silver studs and grey rhinestones and are the perfect complement to all of my ivory and grey sweaters. In fact, they can be merchandised with almost anything. First up – my R13 leather pants, Zara split-hem sweater and Givenchy bag.  Love, love, love my new shoes. Thanks Steve Madden!
