There is something so special about weddings in New York City. The hustle and bustle of this masculine city juxtaposed by a serene bride in a gorgeous gown is my idea of photographic utopia. It is possible that I am a bit biased. After all, I love NYC and even planned my destination wedding at 620 Loft and Garden back in 2010. The space was breathtaking…and I never would have found it without the help of the best wedding planner on the planet, Christine Paul of Christine Paul Events.
Planning a wedding in NYC can be extremely overwhelming. There are so many decisions to make and the options are endless. I was lucky enough to be able to hire a planner to help narrow my scope because, back then, there wasn’t a publication that focused on Manhattan weddings. A magazine like that would have been invaluable to me. Luckily for me, my marriage didn’t last and I might eventually have the honor of planning my second wedding with help from CP and the brilliant team at a new magazine… Sophisticated Weddings: New York Edition.
