While in the Bahamas for winter holiday, immersed in publications devoted to Spring fashion, I was hit by a sudden wave of excitement – and a false sense of shopping urgency – for the upcoming season. Floral midi skirts, crops tops and high waisted trousers, pale washes of color…I want it all. I made lists upon lists of Spring must-haves for my clients. It was glorious.
Fast forward a few days, it is still winter in Brooklyn (oh, hello snow) and likely will be for a while. Thus, while I am eager to commit to Spring, I have come to terms with the fact that I cannot yet fully immerse myself in all things floral.
