Sophisticated Pastels

I don’t know about you but I am feeling pretty romantic these days. I am loving life, the promise of Spring weather, Spring flowers and Spring color palettes.

I am particularly enamored with the soft washes of color that have recently flooded the market. Faded lilac, blush and mint green look delectable with ivory and camel and even more chic in luxe fabrications like washed silk and cashmere. My first outfit inspiration in this palette: a watercolor pastel printed blouse, ivory fuzzy sweater, camel ankle pants and lilac shoes. Perfectly feminine and perfectly suited for all of the dates I have lined up. I think love is in the air…
