That perfect time of year has arrived – Spring product is hitting the shelves and the consignment stores are eager for your gently worn items. In an effort to take advantage of the full consignment selling season, I decided to put together my consignment package yesterday and make an appointment to drop it off this week. I was able to part with 20 items for Second Time Around, 10 for private resale and 2 things for ebay. My goal is to make enough from resale to fund my Spring ’13 purchases – a tall order since I am hoping to buy a Celine tote. The challenge will just force me to pay more attention when I shop and buy only the things that I absolutely die for. Not a bad deal since, as I always say, life is too short to be surrounded by things you don’t love.
