I was driving on the highway in Virginia on Sunday and, seemingly out of nowhere, was hit with a jolt of gorgeous color palette inspiration. The sun was setting and the sky was this beautiful shade of lavender with strokes of gray against a backdrop of very lush, dark green trees. It reminded me of this printed top I love that I recently acquired for a client’s September package and something just clicked. Enter, my color palette inspiration if the week:
LAVENDER – GRAY MELANGE – HUNTER GREEN
The lavender adds a certain sweetness to the collegiate hunter green, the gray melange acts as a neutral balance. Palette perfection. As an added bonus, I recently acquired a pair of dark green slim chinos for my favorite adult male (aka Marc). These will debut with a purple button down, gray v-neck sweater and gray sneakers. My favorite little male (aka Grey) will also don this palette de la semaine.
