According to the Farmer’s Almanac, Spring will be here eventually. I am hopeful that the ground will thaw so, naturally, I find myself assessing my shoe closet. My current obsession: comfortable flats.
Since I spend a considerable amount of time each day shopping with clients on the mean streets of NYC, the prospect of wearing heels before dusk is slim. And, while I am love-love-loving my Chuck Taylors and slip-on Jimmy Choos, sneakers aren’t always an appropriate choice. I will need a flat shoe to get me through the days where I need to look chic and professional. Something comfortable that looks smart with the men’s wear inspired trousers and feminine blouses that I am gravitating to this Spring. Something that will be valid for the rest of the year.
